Listen with Love
Wednesday Nights at CAV · Starts February 24
This gathering will be an opportunity for you to share from your heart on this topic, but more importantly for you to listen to others share about how they have been affected by the events over the past several months. We are asking you to come to this event with an open and humble heart as you might interact with others of a differing opinion than yours. Let us all remember what Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” This verse should be on all our hearts as we engage in these discussions in our church and our community.
Join us as we engage in fellowship and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the CAV Men’s Breakfast on March 27.
You will hear from 3 of our members, Chris Conneen, Michael Thomas and Keith Nyberg as they share their powerful testimonies of how God strengthened them through their individual struggles. Invite a friend to join you!
Middle School Summer Camp
July 26-July 30
Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, FL
Join us this summer at Palm Beach Atlantic University for Student Life Camp!
No one wants to be afraid, to feel anxious, or nervous. We believe the lies and fears that the enemy seeks to instill in our lives. We walk into our schools, turn on the news, or talk to our friends, and leave feeling unsteady. But fear does not have to be the defining characteristic of our lives. The voice of the enemy does not have to overpower the voice of our Victor, Jesus. Jesus has erased the need for all fear and blocks out the sometimes overwhelming voice of the enemy. At Student Life Camp 2021, students will learn that while the opponent is great, our God is greater. He was and is a God of kept promises, who has good plans for us. He is our stronghold in the midst of weakness, taking our hands in the face of uncertainty, and pushing us toward courage, pushing us to take heart.

Bible Journaling is an exciting way to connect with scripture by combining your faith and your art. You don’t have to be an artist, just willing to experience God and His Word as you experience a new form of worship. It all begins in the margins of your Bible. If you are new to Bible Journaling or have been journaling in your Bible for a while, this group is for you. During each session, we will be sharing a short devotional, learning new techniques, and spending time together creating in our Bibles.
Let’s face it raising little people is hard work and we all need a little support and encouragement for the many roles we face in life as moms. This group will meet every Wednesday and this session using the book, A Women after God’s Own Heart by Elizabeth George, we will explore Biblical principles to guide us as we become the kind of women God is calling us to be.
JAM is a place of grace. A place where moms can connect, be encouraged and equipped to be a Godly mom.
Come and enjoy some much-needed fellowship time with moms just like you!
