Our Crew serves on weekends in areas that support our church ministry.
Serving Areas
Interested in joining the Guest Services crew?
Section Host
Position Requirement: Adults Only. Must be available before, during, and after the service.
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Have a desire to cultivate relationships with guests in your designated section and help create a small church feel within the auditorium.
Greeter or Door Host
Position Requirement: Must be available before, during and after a service. Have a heart for hospitality.
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Guide people where they need to go. Greet people as they arrive and depart. Assist with seating.
Campus Crew
Position Requirement: Adult or Youth
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Help identify new guests and assist with parking and entrance into the building. Greet guests as they enter and leave the building. Have a heart for hospitality.
Medical Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult. Medical certification.
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Provides first response for medical situations as needed.
Safety Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult. Advanced screening required for this team.
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Help keep CAV as safe as possible. Safety team patrols grounds during service, provides first response for safety-related situations.
Café Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult or Youth
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Set-up, create and serve hot and cold beverages. Keep café clean and stocked. Have a hospitality heart.
Parking Lot Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult
Frequency: Every other week for one service
Position Description: Help guests enter and exit the church campus with ease. Assist our guests at the crosswalks to ensure safety in the parking lot areas. Problem-solve solutions if the parking lot becomes full.

Instrumentalist
Position Requirement: Musical proficiency in modern worship style with an instrument
Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend every 6 weeks, 3 services per weekend served
Position Description: Play as part of the CAV Band in our weekend services and special events throughout the year.
Vocalist
Position Requirement: Vocal proficiency in modern worship style with the ability to sing melody and harmony and blend with a vocal team
Frequency: Minimum 1 weekend every 6 weeks, 3 services per weekend served
Position Description: Sing as part of the CAV Band in our weekend services and special events throughout the year
Interested in joining the Production crew?
Production Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult or High School Youth. No prior experience needed. Training available.
Frequency: One weekend every 3rd week
Position Description: CAVProduction is made up of camera operators, audio technicians, videographers, lighting designers, computer graphics operators, and stage builders. Together we create an environment for our church to worship on campus as well as online.

Small Group Leader
Position Requirement: Adult or Student 6th -12th Grade
Frequency: One Service Every Week
Position Description: Guide children in the small group environment. Focus on greeting parents and welcoming children in the classroom, running activities and sitting with children during large group. Leader works from curriculum, which is prepared in advance by CAV Kids and includes games that remind children about our lesson as well as opportunities to dive into God’s Word. Will typically be a part of a team consisting of multiple small group leaders and assistants.
Check-in Team
Position Requirement: Adult or Student 6th -12th Grade
Frequency: One service every week or every other week
Position Description: Greet families as they come to CAV each week. Assist as needed with self-check in for small groups. Welcome new families and escort them to small group classes.
CAV Buddy
Position Requirement: Adult or Student 6th -12th Grade
Frequency: One service every week or every other week
Position Description: Have you got a heart for children with special needs? Our CAV Buddy ministry works with families of special needs children to ensure that their kids have the best worship experience possible. Whether it is sitting along-side a student during large group or working one-on-one to learn the bible story together CAV Buddy build a special and unique relationship with their students.
Large Group Production Team
Position Requirement: Adult or Student 6th -12th Grade
Frequency: One weekend per month for all three service times.
Position Description: Whether you like to be on-stage, love running cameras, or like being the person who runs the computer or sound, we’ve got a role for you. Our large group production team helps teach preschool or elementary kids God’s truth through interactive games, skits, and stories. Large Group Leaders work together using a variety of styles to help kids experience worship in a high-energy and action-packed environment. Must be comfortable in front of a crowd. Our large group techs oversee the production environment in one of our three large group experiences. Work with lighting, sound, and computers to support our Large Group Leaders as they teach from the stage. Full training on systems is provided, no experience necessary.

Interested in joining the Middle School crew?
Small Group Leader (Adult)
Position Requirement: Willingness to lead a small group of middle school students. 3 year commitment. Most small group leaders stay with their students when they move up to the next year when possible.
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings for one service
Position Description: Develop relationships with middle school students while facilitating breakout questions provided from a curriculum. Be willing to lead students into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Small Group Leader (High School)
Position Requirement: Must be 10th grade or older. Willingness to lead a small group of middle school students.
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings for one service
Position Description: Develop relationships with middle school students while facilitating breakout questions provided from a curriculum. Be willing to lead students into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Guest Services (Adult)
Position Requirement: Love hanging out with middle school students and be committed to serving others
Frequency: Twice a month, Sunday morning for the beginning of two services.
Position Description: Be a part of a team that is focused on connecting and serving others within the middle school ministry by greeting, serving food, decorating and cleaning up.
Guest Services (High School)
Position Requirement: Must be 10th grade or older. Love hanging out with middle school students and be committed to serving others
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings for one service
Position Description: Be a part of a team that is focused on connecting and serving others within the middle school ministry by greeting, serving food, decorating and cleaning up.
Production (Adult)
Position Requirement: Productions technology skills preferred
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings for one service
Position Description: Create a high energy environment for the service through lights, sound and computer graphics.
Production (High School)
Position Requirement: Must be 9th grade or older. Some understanding of various types of technology
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday mornings for one service

Frequency: Weekly on Sunday nights, multiple-year commitment
Position Description: Co-lead a small group of high school students by loving, listening, and facilitating discussion from the provided Small Group Leader Guide
Production
Position Requirement: Adult with some understanding of various types of technology
Frequency: 1-4 times per month on Sunday evenings
Position Description: Create a high energy environment for the service through lights, sound and computer graphics
Campus Support
Position Requirement: Adult with willingness to serve
Frequency: 1-4 times a month from 12-12:30pm on Sundays
Position Description: Help set up interior and exterior environments (chairs, tent, 9-square, tables, etc.)
Photographer
Position Requirement: Adult with some experience necessary, personal camera equipment is preferred
Frequency: 1-4 times a month on Sunday nights
Position Description: Capture high quality photos
Guest Services
Position Requirement: Adult with a willingness to serve
Frequency: 1-4 times a month on Sunday nights
Position Description: Greet students as they arrive, check students in on iPad, and help capture new students’ information, among other things.
Host
Position Requirement: Adult with energy and an excellent public speaker
Frequency: Weekly on Sunday nights
Position Description: Create a high energy environment through organizing and leading announcements and games
Safety Team Member
Position Requirement: Adult with a willingness to undergo advanced screening
Frequency: 1-4 times a month on Sunday nights
Position Description: Help keep CAV as safe as possible. Safety team patrols grounds during service, provides first response for safety-related situations
Instrumentalist

Position Description: Facilitate a small group of 12–16 adults using curriculum provided by Church at Viera.
Production
Position Requirement: Adult with some understanding of various types of technology.
Frequency: Varies depending on each event/group.
Position Description: Help to create an environment for the service through lights, sound, and computer graphics.
Hospitality
Position Requirement: Adult with willingness to serve who enjoys creating welcoming environments
Frequency: Varies depending on each group.
Position Description: Help set up, serve, and tear down beverage and food areas.
Greeters
Position Requirement: Adult with willingness to serve by creating welcoming environments.
Frequency: Varies depending on each group.
Position Description: Greet people as they arrive, assist with checking in attendees, and help get contact information from newcomers, among other things.
Event Team
Position Requirement: Plan upcoming events, coordinate with outside vendors, and develop and coordinate with teams for the event.
Frequency: Varies depending on each event/group.
Position Description: Events are scattered throughout the year. Most events need production, hospitality, greeters, worship team, and prayer warriors.
Worship Team
Position Requirement: Adult with musical proficiency in modern worship style.
Frequency: Varies depending on each group.
Position Description: Perform worship experience for various group events.
