Mark Ragsdale is the Lead Pastor at the Church at Viera. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1983, where he met his wife Kelli while singing in the Baptist Student Union choir. After graduating with his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary in 1986, Mark and Kelli served churches in Texas and Tennessee before moving to Florida. He and his family settled in Viera, FL where Mark felt called to plant the Church at Viera in 1992. Through his commitment to sharing the gospel, Mark has created a growing community of believers that have partnered with him in the goal of sharing grace with everyone and seeing Christ change lives.
Mark is a father to Jonmark, Jessica, and Luke, and a grandfather to a growing number of grandchildren. When he’s not preaching, you can find him scuba diving, marathon running, skiing and hiking in the mountains, and gathering with family.
