CAV Kids

At CAV Kids, your child will thrive in a Christ-centered environment.

As the children’s ministry of Church at Viera, CAV Kids provides a place for children of all ages to worship and experience small group time during each of our weekend services.

What to Expect

At CAV Kids, your child will participate in large group gatherings, Bible study, and activities designed for their specific age group. Here’s what to expect during a weekend service with CAV Kids!

Before

  • First-Time Families: We recommend coming a few minutes early. As you enter the parking lot, follow the signs for New Guests and enter through the front main entrance. Visit our First-Time Families kiosk in the lobby to sign your kids in for their first visit. Our friendly Crew members will lead you into the kids wing and connect you with each child’s small group leader.
  • When you check in your child, you will receive a name tag for your child and a parent security tag.
  • If you’re bringing an infant to pre-K child, please provide any supplies your child may need (such as diapers or sippy cup labeled with his/her name).

During

  • While you are enjoying adult service, your children will also be engaged and connected through fun, age-appropriate environments to help them grow more in their relationship with Jesus.

After

  • After the service, bring your parent tag with you to pick up your child in their designated small group room.

CAV Buddies: Special Needs

Jesus wants every child to grow in a relationship with him. We want to provide this Christ-centered, community experience for all children, including children with special needs.

That’s where our CAV Buddies ministry comes in. We will partner your child with a trained “buddy,” whose goal is to guide your child throughout our CAV Kids community. They will focus on building relationships and experiencing the environment in a safe and caring way. To request a CAV Buddy for your child, visit the link below to send a message to our CAV Kids team.

CAV Buddies Ministry Options for Children with Special Needs:

  • Full Inclusion with 1:1 Support
For children who can and want to participate in the full CAV Kids experience alongside their peers, with the support of a 1:1 volunteer. This includes high-energy large group activities (K–5th grade) and small group time, with individualized assistance throughout.
  • Sensory-Friendly Program
For children who benefit from a quieter, structured environment. This program offers a dedicated sensory-friendly space with low child-to-adult ratios and 1:1 support. Activities include Bible lessons, music, crafts, movement, and sensory play, centered around a monthly spiritual theme.
  • Blended Experience
For children who would thrive with a mix of both settings. Their 1:1 buddy helps them transition between the full CAV Kids environment and the sensory-friendly space based on their needs and preferences.
