In this 6-week study, we will walk through Parts 1–3 of Church History in Plain Language, Fifth Edition: The Story of the Church for Today’s Readers, covering the period from 6 BC to AD 590.
Together, we’ll explore how Christianity spread across continents, how it has responded to cultural shifts, and how God has continued to work through His people in every generation. From the rapid growth of the Church in the Global South to the challenges facing traditional denominations, this study helps us understand where we’ve been and how it shapes where we’re going.
Whether you’re new to church history or looking to deepen your understanding, this study will give you a clearer picture of God’s ongoing work, and our place in His story.
